Greek salad

Greek salads are an amazing way to start your morning or to help you loose weight. It is both nourishing and provides you with the daily calorie, protein and mineral intake.

1. Gather your ingredients: tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, bell pepper, feta cheese, Kalamata olives, olive oil, lemon juice, and dried oregano.

2. Wash and chop the tomatoes and cucumber into bite-sized pieces. Cut the bell pepper in half, remove the seeds and cut it into thin strips. Thinly slice the red onion.

3. Place the chopped vegetables in a large mixing bowl.

4. Add the Kalamata olives to the bowl.

5. Crumble the feta cheese over the vegetables.

6. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil and lemon juice to make the dressing.

7. Pour the dressing over the vegetables and toss until everything is well-coated.

8. Sprinkle dried oregano over the top of the salad.

9. Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
